Dr. Meenu Chopra is a medical graduate with M.D. (Pathology) from one of India’s premier medical schools. She has completed her senior residency from RGCI Hospital, Delhi. She has an exceptionally diverse interest in her subject and has been practicing pathology since last more than 15 Years.

 

She is also one of the well-known NABH/NABL Lead Assessor & Auditor since last more than 8 years and has been involved in various assignments related to “Quality of Healthcare”. She has not just done assessments & auditing of the laboratories & other healthcare departments but has actively lead teams, drafted, designed & developed quality manuals, Standard Operating Procedures & other quality related formats for complex healthcare processes in large corporate laboratories & other hospital departments. She has headed &led various hospital committees’ i.e. medico-legal committee, infection control committee, transfusion committee & safety committee and has played a pivotal role as a key-decision maker in various critical scenarios & situations in large hospital set-up.

 

 

She has served as Head-of-Department (Pathology & Transfusion Medicine) at Yashoda Hospital & Research Centre for around 14 years. She is one of the key founding members of Quality Department &served as a Director (Quality) during her tenure with group of Yashoda Hospital. She was the one, since inception, who established quality systems based on ISO 15189 and created a robust system of quality policies for entire 350 Bedded hospital following all NABH/NABL related policies & procedures.

Her zeal & enthusiasm to keep her team motivated & ever performing with latest knowledge, also made her one of the most sought after &favorite staff trainer for hospital & medical laboratory.She has taught, trained & mentored hospital & laboratory staff on various operational issues like maintenance & documentation of QC issues in laboratories, policy & procedures related to medical laboratories, GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) for Laboratory technicians, Biomedical Waste Management in large corporate hospitals etc.

Her compassionate attitude towards her profession & exceptional patient friendly attitude has made her took a revolutionary turn in her career and enter into the world of entrepreneurship since last couple of years. Currently, she is the founding Director of Dr Chopra’s Path Clinic at Ghaziabad. DRCPC is one of the leading medical diagnostic lab with all state-of-the-art technology that operates under her dynamic leadership. The philosophy behind this lab is not just to provide correct diagnosis but to transfuse trust &faith in medical science among the society, where medicine & laboratory are getting perceived as just commercial ventures.
